Favorite lyrics: I’m so sick of running as fast as I can, wondering if I’d get there quicker if I was a man. And I’m so sick of them coming at me again; ‘Cause if I was a man, then I’d be the man. I’d be the man; I’d be the man. They’d say I hustled, put in the work. They wouldn’t shake their heads and question how much of this I deserve; What I was wearing, if I was rude; Could all be separated from my good ideas and power moves
you need to calm down; Not much gives me more joy than jamming out to this song, especially the lyrics below. Love is love man, get over it.
favorite lyrics: You just need to take several seats
And then try to restore the peace
And control your urges to scream
About all the people you hate
‘Cause shade never made anybody less gay

But I miss me more
Miranda Lambert- bluebird: “Keep the bluebird in my heart” makes me think of keeping my mema, nana, and poppy in my heart as we always used to watch the birds. And I am just absolutely in love with the whole vibe of this song which, to me, is, keep finding the light.

I’ll just mix ’em in my drink
And if the whole wide world stops singing
And all the stars go dark
I’ll keep a light on in my soul
Keep a bluebird in my heart

I needed to lose you to find me
This dancing was killing me softly
I needed to hate you to love me

The one that you’d die for
I wanna, I wanna be. The one that you stand for
Reach out your hand for, I wanna, I wanna be; Good enough for me
Maddie and Tae- Bathroom floor: This is 100% a fantastic pump-up song. I discovered this song exactly when I needed it.
Let’s wipe the tears off your cheeks
Put on a dress and get out that door
Girl, the first shot’s on me
Let’s jump into a cab downtown
Let a sexy man spin you around
Let’s show that heart some neon magic
‘Til we’re drunk and laughing
Back on the bathroom floor
Pink- Hustle: I just discovered this song a week ago, and I honestly don’t know what took me so long.
Just like a lion, you came for a sheep
Oh no, don’t try to hustle me
You took my love, mistook it for weakness
I guarantee I won’t repeat this
No, don’t try to hustle me

The ultimate power-up song. Is there anything better than turning this up as loud as possible with the windows down on a gorgeous spring day? The answer is no.
